When I’m not in the office, I’m spending time with my four amazing kids and my husband, Scott, who also works here at Casey’s. I enjoy all things green and growing, whether it’s houseplants or working in the garden. I also love reading, knitting, and soaking up time outdoors whenever I can.

Born and raised in Lafayette, Casey Smith brings a deep-rooted commitment to his community and a passion for quality craftsmanship to his role as CEO. He attended Ball State University and has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to make a positive impact, both through business and beyond. When he’s not leading the team, you’ll find him enjoying the outdoors, whether it’s fishing, hiking, or exploring new places. His dedication to the company is matched only by his passion for building lasting relationships and creating spaces that truly make a difference in people’s lives.

As a lifelong friend of Casey’s, Scott Emery brings both heart and hustle to his role as Construction Operations Manager. The two started their first business, a small landscaping company, as kids, and now work side by side making homeowners’ visions come to life. Scott is known for his steady leadership, hands-on approach, and dedication to getting the job done right. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending quality time with his wife and their four kids. His commitment to family and teamwork carries through everything he does, on and off the job site.

With nearly 40 years in the construction industry, Jeremy Bennett brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and steady leadership to every job site. He’s the kind of guy who’s seen it all. When he’s not managing projects, Jeremy enjoys quality time with his daughter, relaxing out on his boat, and spoiling his German Shepherd, Javy. Just don’t hold it against him that he’s a Cowboys fan, we try not to. His dedication to his craft and his crew makes him an invaluable part of the team.

With over 20 years of experience in the plumbing industry, Barry Howell brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to every job. A licensed plumber with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem-solving, Barry is known for his reliability, precision, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Originally from Anoka, IN, Barry values family above all else. When he’s not on the job, he enjoys spending time with his wife, their children, and their ten wonderful grandkids. His strong sense of family and community carries over into his work, where he treats every customer like a neighbor.

With over 55 years in the roofing industry, Brad Marchel is not only a master of his trade but also a man known for his heart to serve. Deeply rooted in his faith, Brad is heavily involved in his church and has spent much of his life volunteering his time and skills to help communities in crisis. From rebuilding after hurricanes to lending a hand in international disaster zones, he’s traveled the globe to make a difference, most recently spending time in North Carolina for disaster relief efforts. Brad leads by example, showing that true craftsmanship is just as much about compassion as it is about skill.

Tracey has been in the drywall trade for over 35 years and brings a level of skill and experience that’s hard to match. Known for his steady hand and no-nonsense attitude, he’s the guy you want on your team when precision matters. Outside of work, Tracey is a proud father of six and a proud grandfather to several grandchildren. He loves to travel and is always up for an adventure. His dedication, both to his craft and his family, makes him a vital part of what we do.

Eddy is the proud owner of Great United Skates and a valued part of our team. When he’s not working or skating, he loves spending quality time with his family and is currently preparing for an exciting new chapter, he’s getting married soon! Eddy also enjoys gaming in his downtime and brings a laid-back, creative energy to everything he does. Whether it’s on wheels or on the job, he’s all about community and connection.

Mike Smith was more than a skilled craftsman, he was a mentor, a supporter, and the foundation on which much of our business was built. With over 50 years of experience in construction, Mike poured his knowledge, work ethic, and passion into every project he touched. He was a proud Boilermaker fan, a loyal Cubs supporter, and never missed a chance to hit the golf course. Most importantly, he passed down his wisdom and love for the trade to his son, Casey. His legacy lives on in the quality of our work and the heart of our team.
